VIKUHOVA ENGLISH COMEDIA OF THE MOST TRIAL OF THE TRACARPATTY!
The comedy "No. 13" for the play "He, She, the Window, the Dead" of the contemporary English playwright Rei Kuuni was set up in December 2018 by the Zakarpattia Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after the Seregiev Brothers. Honored Artist of Ukraine, directed by Mikhail Fischenko, debuted on this big stage with this statement.
The hall lasted for two hours, and long ovations testified for themselves. In the play about the adventures of the assistant prime minister, who instead of the night debates in the parliament, arranged the adulter at the hotel with the secretary of the opposition, mixed everything: political satire, detective, black humor, love stories.
The success of the show is largely due to acting work. The main role of the assistant prime minister was played by Honored actor of Ukraine Stepan Barabash. His ingenuity can be envied, because it's not everyone's ability to dance foxtrot with the dead. No less skillful, plastic and unforgettable was the image of the secretary of the protagonist Rudolf Zurynets, who gradually emerges in the leading role in the theater. The play is played by many young actors who have recently joined the band. It is worth noting the great role played by the deceased (Yevgeniy Futornyak) and the original representative of the hotel service (Mark Polischuk), who received a lot of services for all services.
Professor UzhNU, the protesting theater Sergey Fedak called the performance "No. 13" very Transcarpathian, as all events take place at the hotel, and for our tourist-recreational region, where hundreds of similar institutions and thousands of people are employed, this is absolutely their own and native. All staff at Westminster Hotel are obviously from Transcarpathian reality. Well, a bit like the song "Hotel California" about a fascinated place where it's impossible to get out. The director succeeded in mixing mysticism, clowning, lava-pages and political satire in one cocktail. Even a lambda was found a place. "
The play also liked the writer Andriy Lyubtsy, who admitted that he was mocking the premiere: "The Transcarpathian Drama Theater finally put a really funny comedy. Performance "No. 13" by Ray Cooney - the best one I've seen on our great scene. Dynamic, funny, stylish, well played - it's undoubted success of the theater, director Mikhail Fishenko and the actors.
