Concert program Jerusalem Quartet replaced by concert program Pietro De Maria.

Pietro de Maria - a representative of the Italian aristocracy of the piano school, a great performer, a handsome man, conquered the Odessa audience with his unforgettable concert at the ODESSA CLASSICS-2019 festival. And now - a new meeting with the leading pianist of Italy.

He is the first Italian pianist to perform all the works of Chopin on the concert stage and record them at the famous recording company DECCA (13 discs).

The Israel Soloists Chamber Orchestra was created in 2016 and implements the idea of a virtuoso ensemble of soloists performing a non-standard repertoire of masterpieces of world classics and modern compositions. The composition of the musicians is based on the basis of the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra (under the direction of Zubin Meta) and represents the elite of like-minded musicians of this country.

The founder, music director and conductor is the composer and conductor Benjamin Yusupov.

His compositions, exclusive rights to which are owned by the Hamburg publishing house SIKORSKI, have been repeatedly performed by famous soloists and groups, including the London, Munich, Israel, Lucerne, Copenhagen and Belgrade Philharmonic orchestras. He works closely with major musicians such as: Maxim Vengerov, Misha Maysky, Vadim Repin, Alexander Knyazev, Maxim Rysanov, Sergey Nakaryakov, Konstantin Lifshits, Reinhold Friedrich and others.

The concert program of the Brussels Chamber Orchestra is replaced by the concert program of Sebastian Knauer.

Sebastian Knauer was born in Hamburg in 1971. During his impressive career, the pianist performed in more than 50 countries on four continents. Knauer regularly enters the best halls in the world, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Zurich Tonhalle, the London Wigmore Hall, the New York Lincoln Center, the main halls of Tokyo, Hong Kong, Milan, Munich, Amsterdam, Paris and others. Among the numerous orchestras with which the artist was a soloist - Dresdner Staatskapelle, Bamberg Symphony, NDR Symphony, Hamburg Philharmonic, New York City Opera Orchestra, Shanghai Philharmonic, Zurich Chamber Orchestra.

Arash Safayan: "Beethoven Variations". Fantasy for Piano with Orchestra

The previous joint project of the leading German pianist Sebastian Knauer and the German-Iranian composer Arash Safayan "UBERBACH" became a world sensation, received the ECHO KLASSIK award as "A project that opens the boundaries of the classics", became a bestseller for classical music in the world, was played hundreds and hundreds of times in the best concert halls of the world. The essence of the project was in new, modern arrangements and “variations on the theme and style” of Bach. "UBERBACH" was also performed in Odessa in 2018 with the participation of the Berlin Chamber Orchestra and became one of the most outstanding events at the ODESSA CLASSICS-2018 festival. And now, at our festival, the world premiere of a new project will take place, which the world industry of classics, “Beethoven Variations” Knauer and Safayan, is eagerly awaiting. The project was recorded at SONY and the disc will be released for international release in the summer of 2020.

For the ODESSA CLASSICS festival, it is a great honor to become the venue for the presentation of one of the most anticipated projects in the year of Beethoven’s 250th anniversary, a project with the potential of world sensation to discover new ways of developing classical music in the 21st century.

The festival audience constantly asked the organizers of the festival when a new meeting with the beloved musician would take place. And now - the long-awaited return of Linus Roth to the stage of the ODESSA CLASSICS festival! The violin virtuoso will close the festival program with a hit of the violin romantic repertoire - the famous Mendelssohn Concerto in E minor.
