30 years ago, in autumn, the Academic Chamber Orchestra "Virtuosi of Lviv" started its first rehearsals. And in half a year, he presented the first programs and received favorable reviews from music critics and music lovers. The history of the orchestra includes hundreds of concerts in Ukraine and European countries. These are premiere performances and specially written works for the orchestra by well-known composers. These are kilometers of tours and cooperation with the best soloists

Over the course of 30 years of activity, the group has become one of the leading orchestras of the Lviv National Philharmonic and one of the best chamber orchestras in the country. The orchestra's activities are always conducted by the artistic director and founder of the orchestra - Serhii Burko. The concertmaster and leader is Volodymyr Duda, and the conductor is Taras Vergun.

The first concert of the anniversary season is dedicated to one of the most fateful collaborations in the history of the orchestra - collaboration with Myroslav Skoryk , because the already famous composer at the time of the creation of the orchestra not only supported the idea of the young team, but also wrote for the "Virtuosos of Lviv", was a soloist at some concerts and even recorded a CD together! Therefore, the opening program will feature selected works of the composer: spiritual and secular, with a recognizable Carpathian flavor and numerous allusions to the musical treasures of the past. All of them are united by the expressive and endless melodiousness of Skoryk, as if the long song of human life continues to sound in the walls of the Philharmonic.
