Alai Oli in Kyiv! We are waiting for you on June 19, at 8 p.m. at the UBK.
There are groups in which DNA is intended to carry good. One of them is Alai Oli. The name of the band was taken from the fairy tale by vocalist Olga Marquez "Zheleznyy lev", and, according to the story, it means "to carry the positive". Coming from reggae to indie lyrics, the band has put together a considerable catalog of songs. But all of them, regardless of style, are able to share the joy with the listeners when they are well and to comfort when they are sad. Kyiv supporters will be able to see this again this summer.
At about the same time, the band recorded the first demo, "Bog est lyubov". The first album "Da, bro?" released back in 2007, but only with the arrival in 2009 to the band trumpeter with classical education Elijah Flugeltauba the group found its iconic sound. And with the release of the Satta Massagana record, the team moved away from the reggae style and began to develop their new style – "Singing every time about how well everything is when you are in doubt, it's getting harder," Olga says. The band's most recent release – the mini-album "Sad Princess" was released in 2019 and, as the band itself says, tells the story of "when you come back from sleep to reality".
Alai Oli is an out-of-the-box music that has been winning hearts for over 15 years. And this summer the band will play their favorite songs under the summer sky in Kyiv – from the first to the latest.
