Twenty One Pilots have joined the Atlas Weekend 2021 line-up. The duo was announced at the 2020 festival, which has been postponed to next year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The band was scheduled to perform on Friday, July 10, 2020, which is why Twenty One Pilots will perform as planned on Friday, but on July 9. Traditionally, the Atlas Weekend festival is held from Tuesday to Sunday, in the 2nd week of July. The organizers promised to mirror the festival to next year with the maximum preservation of the announced artists.
Twenty One Pilots is an American duo from Columbus, Ohio. The band was formed in 2009 and currently consists of Tyler Joseph and Josh Dunn. The band released two albums: "Blurryface" and "Trench". In 2017, the duo won a Grammy in the nomination "Best Pop Duo". The authoritative edition Billboard named the album "Blurryface" the most successful record of the decade. The band's music video for "Stressed out" garnered more than 2 billion views on YouTube. Twenty One Pilots are also known for their hit "Heathens", which is the soundtrack to the movie "Suicide Squad". The latest video for the song " Level of Concern " was shot in quarantine and has already collected about 36 million views on Youtube.
The Atlas Weekend 2021 festival will take place on July 6-11 in Kyiv on the territory of the ENEA. The organizers promise to postpone the announced Atlas Weekend 2020 line-up as much as possible, which was already announced before the start of quarantine.
