Want a life performance? Then come to the staging of the Kyiv Academic Rusdrama Theater called "Indian Summer".
At the core of the play is the play “A Slumber Party Over Eternal Peace,” written by Aivon Menchell, the best American comedian. By the way, he authored the original plots of the TV series “The Time of Your Life”, “My Fair Nanny”, etc.
The heroines of the play are three women over fifty: Lucille, Doris and Ida. They are bright, uncommon and quite funny, but they are united by no means a joyful occasion. Four years, as they get together in late autumn to go to one of the New York cemeteries and honor the memory of their spouses.
And yet: Is not their freedom a reason to think about new “boys”? For example, crowds of admirers for Lucille. And she really likes it. After all, how nice to feel the enthusiastic looks of men! In general, a woman with age does not lose any craving for beauty, nor a sense of humor.
Three women are completely different in character and type, each of them has its own original story. They are funny, cute, poetic and ... a bit intriguing. Therefore, they can clap their eyes, boast outfits, and even become a “pose” when they need to protect their own interests. You will be conquered by this funny and touching trinity!
The play does not contain any hidden meanings and subtexts. He just needs to be watched with ease, resting his soul to good music, excellent scenery and a talented acting game.
The author of the production is Grigory Ziskin (Canada). Cast: Nadezhda Kondratovskaya, Lidiya Yaremchuk, Anna Varpakhovskaya, Anna Natalushko, Alexander Getmansky.
The duration of the lyrical comedy is 2 hours and 40 minutes (with intermission).
