April 20 on the main stage of Ukraine is the main event of spring! Catherine Kukhar and Ker Gerémy Lou in the ballet "Giselle"!
On the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine is a real French ballet “Giselle” performed by the prima ballerina of the National Opera of Ukraine Yekaterina Kukhar and the Parisian Opéra Garnier soloist Ker Geremy Lou (Quer Jérémy-Loup).
Quer Jérémy-Loup is the lead singer of Opéra Garnier, winner of international competitions. The young artist is a bright star of the Parisian school of ballet, tall and thin, with perfect lines and dance technique. In Kiev, Ker Jeremy Lou will perform the part of Albert in a pair with Ekaterina Kuhar. Ekaterina Kukhar is a prima ballerina of the National Opera of Ukraine, People’s Artist of Ukraine, a laureate of international competitions. She is invited to dance to the best ballet scenes of the world, and in Ukraine, thanks to her name, there are more fans in ballet art. Ekaterina Kukhar is a symbol of modern Ukrainian ballet. She draws with her body every detail in the dance neatly and beautifully, from turning her head to the tips of her fingers, and her dramatic talent will help the viewer literally live the story of Gisselle with the ballerina.
About the performance:
“Giselle” is a French ballet hit, a dramatic tale of love to the musical motifs of the classic Adolphe Adam. The world premiere took place in 1842, in Paris. Since then, this classic ballet is an ornament in the repertoire of almost all major world theaters. A performance was created based on the legend, which Heinrich Heine once gave. The legend tells the story of the Willis - the dead young unmarried girls who were betrayed by their beloveds. Unable to withstand the betrayal, the girls died and turned into vengeful and cruel spirits - Willys, who settled scores with young men at night.
