The band of director Ilya Naishuller Biting Elbows for the first time in Kyiv!

You know their stunning action videos, in which everything goes awry, and all the chaos seems to be right in front of your eyes. You know exactly their frontman and director, who shot the explosive video for The Falseman's False Alarm track and made us all accomplices in the bank robbery. It's time to see them live. Ilya Naishuller and Biting Elbows will perform for the first time in Kyiv.

Date and place: March 14, Atlas Club.

Biting Elbows is a band founded in 2008 by film director Ilya Naishuller and drummer Ilya Kondratiev. The band does not limit itself to a rigid genre framework, balancing between lively post-punk and thoughtfully melodic indie. The band became widely known after the release of a bloody action video for the song Bad Motherfucker , shot in the first person. The video won gold at the London International Awards. And the multimillion-dollar views (more than 45 million at a time) on YouTube inspired the creation of the film Hardcore, for which Biting Elbows also recorded a soundtrack.

During its existence, the band has been a special guest at Moscow concerts of artists such as Placebo and Guns N 'Roses, as well as performed at the festivals Park Live, Maxidrom, Quicksilver New Star, YouTube Music Awards. Currently, the band gathers full halls in clubs at home and abroad, filling the room with a punk-rock drive.

In June of this year, Biting Elbows released their second full-length album, Shorten The Longing. Work on the record lasted four years in his spare time. Three tracks from the album were previously released as singles and already have video clips . According to the frontman of the band Naishuller, Shorten The Longing is in a way a diary album:

"While the arrangements were constantly changing, all the lyrics from the moment they were written recorded my feelings, and I consciously gave them peace. During the creation of the album, I became much calmer, and now I understand better who I am, what I want, what I am afraid of and why I am not afraid to lose my head. "
