1. Jubilee concert: the father of Russian rock Boris Grebenshchikov turns 65!
2. On the stage, a living legend!
3. Creativity of the group beyond age and conventions, unites everyone who loves good music with meaning!
Boris Borisovich Grebenshchikov and the group “Aquarium” are returning to Odessa, where they will perform on June 15 at the Opera and Ballet Theater. The concert is timed to the memorable date - the legendary musician turns 65 years old, of which 47 he acts as the permanent leader of the best art-rock team in the entire post-Soviet space.
It is no exaggeration to call the “Aquarium” one of the most popular groups. People's love for their work is so great that for the past 46 years, musicians allow themselves to tirelessly experiment with sound, form and presentation. Only a few teams have such a degree of trust among listeners, and as one publication was aptly expressed: “The aquarium is a living legend, our Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan are all in one person”. The repertoire of Boris Grebenshchikov has three songs that are familiar to every loyal listener, but which, according to the musician, have never been recorded correctly. It is about “Do not waste time”, “For those who are in love” and “The Doors of Grass” - the concert program of BG is named after it. They still feel the heat of the midday sun of Makhachkala, where songs were written, and the relaxed atmosphere of real reggae. Boris Grebenshchikov is one of the pioneers of Russian rock music, a poet with a capital letter, a composer, a singer, a guitarist, a bard, a writer and a journalist. Boris Borisovich Grebenshchikov confirms the old idea that a talented person is talented in everything.
Celebrating an anniversary on the stage is a glorious tradition for musicians, and for the audience it is a spiritual concert, where in a pleasant atmosphere you can enjoy the half-century creative legacy of the BG and the Aquarium group.
