CHAMBER GEMS in Kyiv! We are waiting for you on April 13, at 7 p.m. at the Saint Catherine's Church.
... Everyone is interested in treasures. But treasures are different. Material, natural, spiritual. Of course musical. Many of them are known to the general public, they are extremely popular, they are often performed. These treasures are enjoyed massively by mankind. But, who of us did not dream to find an unknown, hidden treasure at least once in our life... It is one of these treasures, hidden from the general popularity, that this treasure is made.
These "jewels" were enjoyed by the French nobles, as Jean-Marie Leclair and Jacques Aubert were violinists of the famous royal court orchestra "24 King's Violins". And the guests of one of the most noble families in Europe – the family of Prince Esterhazy "The Wonderful" – perceived, especially for them, the works of Joseph Haydn, as an extraordinary pleasure. The real diamond of the program is Antonin Dvorak's Tercet, which belongs to the masterpieces of chamber music and is extremely valued by more than one generation of musicians.
But all these "rare musical pearls" are not very common guests in concert halls because of the extraordinary composition of the instruments for which they are written. Obviously, this is the reason why this music is called "hidden treasure". You have a great opportunity to enjoy a rare program performed by famous musicians who came together specifically for this concert. Speaking in modern language, you are waiting for a "Lax-concert".
