So, the main character is a respectable Monsieur Amilcar. He is betrayed by his wife, children, friends, and therefore is decided on an unusual step. Create with the help of money the illusion of happiness.
For a lump sum he hires three strangers - the actress Eleanor, the prostitute Virginia and the artist Masha. For the bills he receives, they must play loving loved ones by Monsieur Amilcar: a caring spouse, a charming daughter, and a loyal friend. The life of the "ideal family" has musical accompaniment performed by the household servants of the host. Live music and songs of the ironic duet are an accompaniment of unusual performances of a strange, home theater paid in advance.
But here's the bad luck ... What seemed a strange game actually changes the fate of all. And the closer the final of the story, the more difficult it is for the participants of the undertaking to distinguish the feigned feelings from the real ones. The production is based on the work of the famous French playwright Yves Zhamiak, winner of the Cannes Film Festival prize for the best script. By the way, the comedy "Monsieur Amilcar" (or "The Man Who Pays") brought the greatest fame to the author.
This is a play about life, in which you can buy everything for money. Everything except life itself. Directed by Dmitry Bogomazov.
