Everyone has a different idea of happiness ... Therefore, few people manage to arrange the happiness of another. And what seems to parents to be a better fate for their children may not at all coincide with the ideas of the child itself. Come to the National Russdrama Theater in Kiev for an original production based on the work of Fyodor Dostoyevsky's "Uncle's Dream".
When parents could not arrange their personal lives and find love, many rush to extremes and begin to believe that love does not exist as such. Or maybe she did disappear from eternal lack of money and poverty. Then the understanding of happiness is distorted and a desire appears: even if my child lives richly and nobly. It was then that they began to pester young daughters, praising the promising old people.
The energetic lady Maria Aleksandrovna Moskaleva also wishes her 23-year-old daughter a happy, in her opinion, fate. And let the young lady choose a gentleman under 70, but his wallet is full of money, which means that the child will not need anything.
And what to take from a gentleman of very respectable age? At the age of 70, his thoughts were completely confused: either he was calling, then the next day it seemed to him that this was all a dream. Evil tongues begin to confuse the unfortunate old prince even more, and he already does not know what it was: dream or reality?
This performance is a staging of Grigory Ziskin (Canada). Cast: Anna Varpakhovskaya, Valery Zaitsev, Irina Novak, Vyacheslav Nikolenko, Alexander Getmansky and others.
The duration of the tragicomedy is 2 hours 40 minutes (with intermission).
