Ivan Franko wrote his work based on real events - a scandalous criminal case that was considered in Lviv at the end of the 19th century. At that time, it shocked with its immorality and involvement in the crime of representatives of high society. The theme of returning from the war, to the beloved wife and children, the main character, sounds especially modern today. But the family happiness that Anelya and Antin once built together has now shaken. Everything has changed in five years. And Antin is met with "the condemnation of the crowd and the specter of singleness." For some unknown reason, the society for which he risked his own life begins to condemn Antin... And despite the fact that Anelya assures her lover of her loyalty to the last, the bitter truth is revealed. And then both of them have to take difficult fateful steps. The duration of the performance is 2 hours and 20 minutes. The language of the performance is Ukrainian. We are waiting for you!

✅ Spectators from 14 years of age are allowed to attend performances without adult accompaniment

If the alarm is short, then after its end the performance will begin in 20 minutes. If the alarm is in the middle of the event, the performance is stopped, theater employees take the audience out of the theater building (the metro station "Teatralna" is located next to the theater), if the alarm is short (up to 40 minutes), the performance can be continued after the alarm ends

Artem Yemtsov

A crowd favorite with deep, kind eyes

Artem Yemtsov is a Ukrainian theater and film actor. Since childhood, he showed interest in unusual professions: at first he wanted to be a priest, then a circus performer. As a result, he started attending a theater studio, then graduated from the Kyiv State Theater Institute named after Ivan Karpenko-Kary. In 2007, he was accepted to the Lesya Ukrainka Theater without an audition. From 2009 to 2011, he played in the Theater on Podil, after which he returned to the team of the Kyiv National Academic Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka.

Artem Yemtsov also participates in enterprise performances, literary readings, and various cultural projects. Among the most famous performances with the participation of Artem Yemtsov are the productions:

Volodymyr Osadchiy is a Ukrainian theater and film actor. He starred in such popular TV series as "Servant of the People", "District with DVRZ", "Three Roads" and others.

He received his acting education at the Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television named after I. K. Karpenko-Kary. In 1999, he joined the creative team of the Kyiv National Academic Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka. Victor Aldoshin is a theater and film actor, in 2014 he was awarded the title of People's Artist of Ukraine. Graduated from Kyiv Institute of Theater Arts named after I. K. Karpenka-Kary in 1984 and immediately started working at the Kirovohrad Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater named after M. Kropyvnytskyi. Since 1999, he has been an actor at the Kyiv National Academic Drama Theater named after Lesya Ukrainka, where he performed roles in the following plays:
