Franckyjazz ”with the program“ Besame Mucho ”includes the most famous hits of Italian, Cuban and Mexican music, some of which are presented in non-standard, jazz processing. The key definition of the program’s style is the masterful interweaving of several cultures: both the melodies of the Italian language with the intonations of American jazz in the composition “Tu vuo fa lAmericano”, and English accompanied by the rhythms of the Latin in the song “Sway”.

Frankyjazz - a team of high-class musicians, and unsurpassed vocalists - Vitaly Kostenko and Margarita Meleshko! Frankyjazz - winners of the best cover band of Ukraine in 2018! Were honored to be the headliners of the International Jazz Festival.

According to the author, these combinations parodied the process of Americanization, which covered most of the world before, but especially in the post-war years. Already in the years 50-60, such hits as “Volare”, “LItaliano”, “Besame Mucho” acquire a pronounced jazz color. The intonation of this music could be heard in any country.

“Besame Mucho” - the legendary compositions from the repertoire of Dalida and Toto Cutugno, music sounded in Italian cinema in the 50s – 60s in jazz processing, combined with hits from the repertoire of Nat King Cole and Dean Martin, can become the basis of a whole series of concerts under the name “Mafia Jazz” or “Jazz, Slow & Cha-cha-cha”, immersing listeners into an era that has entered the world history of music, like the period of “fusing” musical traditions - Italian music, American jazz and Latin rhythms.
