“Khanum” is a funny, lightweight musical in two acts based on the play by Avksenti Tsagareli.
The old Prince, the reveler and the rake, in order to improve his financial situation, decides to marry a young and beautiful Sonya. But the girl is in love with her young teacher Kote. To unravel this tangle is taken by the matchmaker Khanum herself, who at ease, with flashing humor, puts everything in its place. And all this is in the atmosphere of one of the most picturesque areas of old Tiflis - Avlabara: princes, merchants, artisans, small traders and, of course, the soul of the whole Kinto city. Here the spirit of interethnic friendship and fun reigns. And the two matchmakers, Khanum and Kabato, twist the story of the marriage of the once rich and now ruined Prince Pantiashvili.
The audience is waiting for a lot of jokes, songs, dances and even Caucasian toasts!
