HEILUNG - the authors of the soundtracks for the last season of "GAMES OF THRONES" will visit the capital for the first time with a big concert
The collective reproduced in its music the sound of Northern Europe of the Iron Age and the Viking Age. The sound of the compositions is built on the use of traditional Scandinavian instruments and voices; they transfer the listener to pre-Christian times, when a person was one with nature.
Each performance of Heilung is an exciting and spectacular event, where the lines between the stage action and the ancient rituals, past and present, disappear.
Heilung uses Old Norse texts from archaeological artifacts in their songs regarding heroic events or translations of ancient text elements. Authentic sound and aesthetics of the ancient civilization are created with the help of bones, tambourines, the sound of water, wooden shields and copies.
Translated from the German language HEILUNG means "healing", this is the essence of the music of Heilung. The listener remains in a calm and relaxed state after a musical journey, the leader of the group, Kai Uwe Faust, believes that the enchanting power of music can heal a person’s body and soul.
In the group’s arsenal there is a composition devoted to the spirits of the Carpathian forests.
Metal Hammer UK calls the concert at the Midgardsblot festival in Norway one of the best live shows of 2017.
Heilung's music sounded in an advertisement for the new season of the fantasy dramatic series Game of Thrones Game of Thrones.
Do not hesitate, plunge into the world of mysterious shamans and militant Vikings. Hear the voice of the ancestors.
