Concert of the “Homin” choir in Chernivtsi
On August 25, in Chernivtsi, the “Homin” choir will perform as part of an all-Ukrainian concert tour! In 2024, Ukrinform recognized the formation, which is part of the Lviv Organ Hall, as the best in Ukraine. In 2025, the song “This Dream…” with vocals by Vadym Yatsenko became a huge success on social networks.
“Homin” was created in 1988 and has been a worthy representative of the Ukrainian choral tradition ever since. The goal of the artists is to spread unique polyphony and restore interest in choral art. It is also known that it was “Homin” that gave a special sound to the final scene of the HBO series “Chernobyl”, performing the composition “Eternal Memory”.
Since 2023, the choir has begun a new phase of development – it joined the Lviv Organ Hall and received a new artistic director – Vadym Yatsenko. In October, it performed in Lund at a prestigious festival. The concert took place in the hall where the Nobel Prize is awarded.
