Concert of the "Homin" choir in Rivne
On August 16, in Bila Tserkva, the choir "Homin" will perform as part of an all-Ukrainian concert tour! In 2024, the formation, which is now part of the Lviv Organ Hall, was recognized by "Ukrinform" as the best choral group in Ukraine. And the next year, the whole country started talking about "Homin". The composition "This Dream...", which features a solo performed by Vadym Yatsenko, became a hit on social networks, collecting millions of views.
Founded in 1988, "Homin" has been bringing the power, beauty, and spirituality of Ukrainian choral culture to the world ever since. Its mission is to revive the tradition and show the depth of national polyphony.
The talented group also participated in the creation of the soundtrack for the HBO series "Chernobyl", performing the touching composition "Eternal Memory", which was played in the final scene.
A new stage for the choir began in 2023, when it was led by Vadym Yatsenko. With him, "Homin" opened a new page in its history. In October, the choir worthily represented Ukraine at the festival in Lund, Sweden, in the hall where the Nobel Prize is awarded.
