August 21 in Ternopil – the “Homin” choir as part of an all-Ukrainian concert tour! In 2024, Ukrinform recognized the ensemble, which is part of the Lviv Organ Hall, as the best in Ukraine. And the next year, the whole country is talking about their song “This Dream…” with Vadym Yatsenko’s piercing solo – it conquers millions of hearts on social networks.
“Homin” has existed since 1988 and has been bringing the powerful energy of Ukrainian song to the world since then. The vocation of the ensemble is to preserve the tradition and revive a full-fledged choral sound.
By the way, in the final scene of the cult HBO series “Chernobyl” the voices of the ensemble’s artists are heard – in the piece “Eternal Memory”.
In 2023, with its joining the Lviv Organ Hall and under the leadership of Vadym Yatsenko, the ensemble entered a new phase of its development. In the same year, it worthily represented Ukraine in Lund, at a prestigious international festival. The performance took place in the hall where the Nobel Prizes are presented.
