V.U.H.A. Choir - The song will be among us

The Great Ukrainian Amateur Choir has been preparing for the spring concert on May 11, without exaggeration, for a whole year, to present you with an expanded program of masterpieces of Ukrainian pop music from the 60s-80s.

You will hear hits performed by the incredible Ivasyuk and Yaremchuk, Zinkevych and Kondratyuk, Pashkovskaya and Kuprina, VIA "Kobza", "Smerichka", "Svityaz", "Arnika" and "Vatra".

V.U.K.A. strives to restore the popularity and recognition of the music of that time, as well as to ensure that the names of composers Horchynsky, Kos-Anatolsky, Bilozir, Sabadash, Poklad, Zatulovsky, and Mozgovy are on the lips of Ukrainians.

The concert will feature all three V.U.K.A. ensembles - 150 amateur singers who will perform pop songs in original arrangements by the choirmaster and founder of the group, YouTube blogger Yevhen Malyarevsky. From 4 to 12 parts will sound simultaneously in polyphony accompanied by pianist Olena Antonik.

More than half of the profits will be transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
