About event

WHY IS IT WANT TO GO TO THE SHOW “IMPROVISOR. THE LEGENDS OF ONE PIANIST "?

1. Unique performer, Ukrainian composer, pianist, organist - Vlad Solodovnikov.
2. Full-dome projections of the Kiev Planetarium
3. Concert program: author and improvisational music (from the interpretation of jazz mainstream of the 30s of the XX century to modern author's compositions in the style of folk, fusion, indie rock and jazz).

A unique performer, Ukrainian composer, pianist, organist - Vlad Solodovnikov - will perform his own improvisations on the piano, organ and synthesizer. The main highlight of the event is that Vlad writes music right in the process of execution. The only guiding lines are the conditions set initially: the style of the era, runtime and projection, affecting the process of creating music in a live format. Traveling through the epochs, these are vectors of the style of improvisation - from the Baroque era to free jazz, from folk motifs to minimalist music.

Exclusively at the Kiev Planetarium

The concert will be of interest to the general public, because it is not just exquisite music, it lives only a moment. This is an action of live improvisations in synthesis with full-dome projections of cosmic and terrestrial landscapes. The organ and the piano will immerse the listener in the south of creative allusions and make a journey through the era of a real aesthetic event.
