In the past, traveling blind singers and musicians - kobzars, lyre players, and bandurists - were representatives of the Kobzar-Lyrnytskyi tradition.
Today, modern musicians are engaged in its revival and preservation, in particular, Yaroslav Krysko - kobzar and bandurist, a researcher of ancient Ukrainian music and the kobzar and lyre tradition, a member of the band "Horeya Kozatska", as well as members of the Lviv Kobzar Guild.
