This project is a multimedia concert performance inspired by the mysterious codes and images found in the so-called Voynich's manuscripts. This is a medieval manuscript that was created in the 15th century in Italy using an obscure cryptographic system.

In 2023 and 2024, a group of creative musicians gathered around Norbert Rodenkirchen from Cologne (Germany) to find sound solutions to approach the still undeciphered pages of the Voynich Manuscript by developing a new musical language. The experimental ensemble seeks to draw attention to the Voynich Manuscript primarily not as a source of obscure and partially lost information, but as a unique work of art that is beautiful in itself and inspires numerous interpretations. The program will feature original compositions by Ostap Manulyak and Norbert Rodenkirchen, framed by experimental improvisations and melodic fragments of Italian composers of the late Middle Ages.
