Flowers for Algernon

The legendary novel "Flowers for Algernon" from the Wild Theater in Lviv! February 18, at 6:00 PM on the stage of the Zankovetska Theater.

If you were asked to take part in an experiment, what would make you a better version of yourself? Would you agree?

But what if you weren't given any guarantees? Would you agree?

How much would you be willing to pay for a few moments to feel like the smartest, most attractive, best person on the planet? Would you be happier?

“Wild Theater”, in co-authorship with Valeria Fedotova and Rob Feldman, reinterpreted the very sensual and poignant story of Charlie Gordon – one of the most human novels in world literature by Daniel Keyes – “Flowers for Algernon”

The main painful question in this story is how to continue to love the world and the people in it when you learn the whole truth - about those you loved, what you believed in, how you saw and felt your life. To learn that your superheroes are ordinary people. To meet yourself. We will show you our performance through the eyes of Charlie Gordon. This is not just a story about a mentally retarded boy who became a genius, it is a story about a very brave Charlie who dared to see everything as it is. Because when you grow up - your world ceases to be a miracle. But you can become a miracle for the world.” – Valeria Fedotova, director
