History of creation

Lions on a Jeep is a Ukrainian YouTube channel that generates independent humorous content. The project was founded in 2019 by the stars of the country's entertainment industry Andriy Luzan, Mykola Zyryanov, and Valik Mikhienko. In the fall of 2022, stand-up comedian from Lviv region Roman Shcherban joined the team. And in the spring of 2023, popular TikToker Dasha Kubik joined the creative group.

From the very beginning, the authors of the project focused on the original format of humor – non-standard, bold and recognizable. It was this approach that quickly found a response from the audience not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. The rapid growth of popularity and recognition among fans of the genre proved: humor can be deep, relevant – different.

Since the start of the full-scale war, all videos on the channel have been released exclusively in Ukrainian. Currently, the Lions' concerts in a jeep as part of their tour are causing a real stir among loyal fans. Tickets are sold out in a few hours.

The channel's unique style and original projects

The Lions on a Jeep channel specializes in humorous shows in various formats. Not only comedians, but also famous representatives of Ukrainian culture and the creative space – actors and singers, TV presenters and opinion leaders – regularly come to the residents as guests. The real highlight of the project is that new faces appear in each episode. This approach adds dynamics and unpredictability to each new release.

The channel's content is aimed at an adult audience. Watching videos, as well as attending live broadcasts, is allowed for viewers aged 18 and over or 16 accompanied by adults. The restrictions are due to the presence of foul language and the violation of sensitive topics that may be difficult for teenagers to perceive.

A disclaimer appears at the beginning of each issue. It emphasizes that the content is for entertainment purposes only, and the opinions expressed are part of a humorous image and may not reflect reality.

Projects of the Lions on a Jeep channel:

• "Dilettantes' Club". This is an unconventional intellectual quiz that combines logic, intuition and excitement. Participants try to give a numerical answer to a question. The winner and recipient of a cash prize is the one whose option is closest to the correct answer. In return, the participant who made the most mistakes is "rewarded" with a sophisticated punishment;
• "DZK". This is a game in which one player utters a certain phrase. And all the others try to react in a way that makes the participant laugh. If the player cannot hold back his laughter, the next participant who managed to make the opponent laugh offers the phrase;
• "DZK for survival." Here, the participants also strive to make the player laugh. However, for laughing, he receives a "punishment" in the form of one of 35 glasses with a hot cocktail. However, not all of them are the same. There are five with a chistoga, which adds an element of risk and surprise to the meeting;
• "Srach." This is a humorous discussion format where comedians, together with invited guests, engage in heated debates on topical topics;
• Live na jeepe. This is an additional live channel of "Levs", where content creators show their lives outside the stage and filming;
• "Fanfiction." In a separate project, comedians, together with invited guests, read fanfiction aloud - stories written based on famous works, star images or fictional plots. Amateur texts can also be sent by fans of the show. And the project participants voice them according to their roles, adding drama, humor and unexpected interpretations;
• “Mykola’s Vlog.” This is Mykola Zyryanov’s personal format, in which the comedian opens up the creative process to the audience. In the video blog, Zyryanov shows the life of the “Lev” team offstage;
• "Pick Up" and "Skip Off." In this witty show, participants compete in their ability to joke seductively or harshly. Boys and girls, not without irony, try to "kick" each other up in an original way or, conversely, "skip off" their suitors.

Social activity

• The YouTube channel Lions on a Jeep has already gathered over a million subscribers. And the comedians themselves not only entertain fans with their creativity, but also help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A famous team of comedians founded their own charitable foundation in response to numerous requests from the military. The main goal is to support the defenders on the front lines.
• The fund focuses on four key areas of assistance: the supply of vehicles, drones, thermal imagers, and walkie-talkies. In addition, the "Lions" provide the military with other equipment needed on the front. Volunteers report on all expenses and the assistance delivered on the official website.
• Lions on a Jeep also conducts charity streams and concert tours in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And in the summer of 2024, one of the channel's founders, Andriy Luzan, joined the ranks of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
