LINOLEUM is the only international animation festival in Ukraine. Every year the festival brings together the most influential representatives of the animation industry of the country and the world, promotes cultural exchange, development and popularization of animation in the country.
The purpose of the festival is to show that animation is not just about children's cartoons. Unlike the game cinema, the animation has unlimited possibilities that make it a universal tool for any communication. That is why the representatives of various industries and genres are increasingly turning to it: from serious documentaries - to science fiction and gourmets, from advertising of major brands - to experimental video art.
This year all the shows of competitive and non-competitive programs will take place in the culturally cultural place of the capital - the Zhovten cinema (26, Konstantinovska St.).
The educational program will be conducted in the creative space of IZONE, which is also located on Podol (Naberezhno-Lugovo Str., 8). The entrance to IZONE is free.
