November 10 in Kiev for the ninth time will be the main event for all fans of the blues - the annual international blues festival. This year the festival will be held in the capital's Cinema House, and will present a record number of participants from 6 countries.
The festival will be opened by an international team led by Neil Nolen (USA). For more than 30 years, Neil has been traveling around the globe and performing a blues-hit program from Australia to Canada. The group of this charismatic and life-affirming showman will be Turkish pianist Erdem Tonguych, guitarist Vladimir Shevchuk and drummer Alexander Kucherin.
In the second part of the first department will perform a quartet of one of the most famous Ukrainian performers on the harmonica of the Dnieper - Konstantin Kolesnichenko. His albums are highly quoted in well-known foreign musical charts, recognized as the leading masters of the genre and surprisingly combine a rare mix of instrumental jazz and swing with blues on the harmonica.
The second section is opened by the British blues singer Eddie Martin. His game is characterized by guitar virtuosity, vocal sincerity, and the show is marked by its freedom and humor. The program Eddie Martin will be presented jointly with the Ukrainian rhythm section Double Tower.
The festival is completed by the favorite of Ukrainian blues fans - American harper and singer Keith Dunn, who prepared the program for the first time for such an exceptional event with his original band, consisting of musicians from Spain and Belgium.
