For the first time in Ukraine. Matt Elliott and his noirne neofolk / slaucor.
When Matt was 16, he left a formal education to (excuse the stamp) to devote himself to music. Matt got a job at a music store and worked as a DJ at various Bristol clubs, which he formally didn’t even have to let him into because of his age. What then began with the enthusiasm of the drum and bass, twenty years later turned into a life divided into two parts. Divided between British Bristol and French Nancy. It is divided between the iconic drum-and-bass project of The Third Eye Foundation and the noir neo-folk that Matt wrote and performed sono. Divided between internal vulnerability and external expressiveness. Matt lives at least two lives at the same time, and his music will benefit from it.
As a solo musician, Matt created 11 albums, each of which is heavier and thicker than the previous one. We especially love his last decade with the albums "The Calm Before", "The Broken Man" and "Only Myocardial Infarction Can Break Your Heart", but it's up to you. We also love Matt's lyrics, which sting like a lazy bee - slowly and leaving behind a dull belated pain.
Matt will arrive in Ukraine with a selection of old quality material, as well as new songs from the future album "Farewell To All We Know" (release is expected in 2020). And this is the first time his European tour reaches so far east. In Ukraine, Matt will play only three concerts:
● December 5 in Ivano-Frankivsk in the Puppet Theater
● December 7 in Odessa
● December 8 in Kiev in the House of the recording
Matt’s entire Ukrainian tour on Saporta is accompanied as @Ghostcitieskyiv - also a solo project, also multi-instrumental, also dark and weird. Nikolai Lebed improvises with a saxophone and electronic sound in live time, and also presents some ready-made compositions.
Do not miss and have time to get your ticket, since all the concerts are deliberately planned in the most chamber locations. For interviews and press kit contact [email protected]
