Michael Gira (Swans) is going to Kyiv with a solo concert!

Michael Gira is one of the most famous names in music, not only figuratively, but also in the literal - his group Swans is rightly considered to be almost the loudest in the world. However, this time we will hear Michael completely different - only he and the guitar will be on the stage, and the concert will take place on October 31 in the Caribbean Club in Kyiv. This is not the first round of Michael as a solo artist. However, acoustic concerts for him still have every time a new experience.

“Sitting on the stage with a piece of dead wood with wires and hearing your own voice is a difficult task that I set for myself many years ago, trying to master the very essence going through the music, its simplest meanings. It seems that I have a pretty good start. I play the guitar in my own way. I never learned to play the guitar in the usual way, and I'm not even going to. With the same success, I could just knock a stone on a stone. It is also a context for voice and words, and just like in Swans music, when all elements (known and immense) come together, it can lead to something along its limits, and I travel there with pleasure: somewhere.
