About event
On September 18, an evening of ballets will be held at the Kyiv Opera House on Podil: the first part of the ballet "Up the River" to the music of O. Rodin, the second part of the ballet "Tomorrow" to the music of F. Chopin, performed by the amazing artists of Kyiv Modern-Ballet. Like all creations of choreographer Radu Poklitaru, the works breathe passion, are full of sophistication and dynamism. Can't miss it!
" TOMORROW " is a ballet in one act, set to the music of Frédéric Chopin.
"Tomorrow" is a story about us, about those who live here and now, do great things, make discoveries and mistakes, love and hate... From what we do, where we are going and what we are doing at this moment - we form our the future is tomorrow, in a day, a week, a year. What our tomorrow will be, we decide today and for its sake we live to the fullest today.
A famous story based on the story of F.S. Fitzgerald's "The Mysterious Story of Benjamin Button" in the author's reading by Radu Poklitaru - "UP THE RIVER" - ballet in one act, to the music of Oleksandr Rodin.
Going against the flow, even from childhood, is so difficult that at some point you want to buy yourself a new life. This is what the main character of this play did... This play is a very unusual sweep of the ancient vanitas genre, which allegorically represents the futility of vain claims to power over fate.
