About event
Dear friends, do not miss a bright musical event - traditional concerts for the Day of the City of Odessa!
On September 1 and 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the Great Philharmonic Hall, the National Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra, led by the chief conductor and artistic director, People's Artist of Ukraine Maestro Hobart Earle, will present a wonderful musical program that will give you unforgettable impressions.
For many years in a row, this musical tradition has been giving Odessa residents and tourists wonderful concerts dedicated to their native city - so warm, sunny and surprisingly positive and indomitable.
In an extremely diverse and interesting program, works by Rossini, Verdi, Elgar, Barber, Lysenko and Glier will be performed.
For many decades of the past and present centuries, Odessa was called a musical city. Talented musicians - natives of Odessa - contributed to the establishment of its musical fame in Ukraine and throughout the world, and Odessans were proud of this as an important component of the spiritual life of the city.
Therefore, it will be very symbolic to celebrate the birthday of a special, and most importantly, musical city in this way. Hurry up to buy tickets for the wildly popular event.
