National Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra
Dear friends, we sincerely invite you to the Concert of the National Odessa Philharmonic Orchestra, dedicated to the Birthday of two geniuses of all time - the 340th anniversary of the composers Bach and Handel.
On March 21 at 6:00 PM in the Great Philharmonic Hall, you will be able to enjoy amazing baroque music, which has a profound impact on people due to its structure, emotional expressiveness, and harmonious balance; as well as the world premiere of a work by a Ukrainian composer.

PROGRAM:
- Johann Sebastian BACH (1685-1750) - Suite for Orchestra No. 3 in D major (1729-1731)
One of the composer's four orchestral suites, written between 1729 and 1731 during his time in Leipzig.
This suite demonstrates Bach's characteristic Baroque style, with complex polyphony and sophisticated use of orchestral colors;
- Iryna YAROSHEVYCH - "Aquamarine" (2016)
WORLD PREMIERE!!!
A work by a Ukrainian composer from Odessa, written in 2016, which translates to "sea water." The nature of the music tends towards impressionism, but it is not just a depiction of the beauty and grandeur of the seascape, but philosophical and psychological reflections;
- George Frideric Handel (1685-1759) - "Music on the Water", Orchestra Concerto #25 (1717)
"Water Music" is a cycle of orchestral suites by the composer, written in 1717 for performance on boats on the Thames River at the request of King George I of Great Britain. The work became one of the most famous in Baroque music and is still performed at concerts and ceremonial events.
