NAONI Orchestra - Obukhov Center of Culture and Leisure!

The National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Ukraine needs no special introduction, being one of the flagships of the country in the genre of instrumental music, which it performs masterfully and with passion on traditional folk instruments. In the arsenal of the orchestra there are more than 40 little-known and very rarely used instruments: from cymbals and bandura to the almost forgotten bugai, tilinka and drimba.

However, the musical group is most famous for its absolutely incredible arrangements for famous world hits and modern compositions: pop music, jazz, masterpieces of rock music. And of course, the most honorable place in the large repertoire of the NAONI orchestra is occupied by the works of Ukrainian composers.

Seven times the team deservedly won the "Battle of the Orchestras" project, and over the past few years, under the artistic direction of Victor Hutsal, the orchestra's musical experiments have become more and more interesting, daring and innovative. In cooperation with representatives of modern genres of music and top performers, joint concerts were successfully held with many stars of our Ukrainian scene, including ONUKA, Oleg Skrypka, Ruslana, Jamala, Artem Pyvovarov, groups "Druha Rika", Mad Heads, KozakSystem and others.
