Ode to resilience
"Ode to Perseverance" is a unique cultural and charitable initiative that combines creativity and military experience. The series of concerts will feature symphonic works by contemporary composers, created under the influence of the events of the war in Ukraine. These compositions will be interpreted by conductor Serhiy Likhomanenko, who has been in the Donetsk region for the third year, defending our country as an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The project is designed not only to demonstrate the indomitability of the Ukrainian spirit, but also to unite the international community through the power of music. Under the leadership of a conductor who personally experienced the brutal realities of war, each note will take on a special sound - an echo of struggle, faith, and hope.
In addition to world premieres, the concerts will feature new symphonic arrangements of Ukrainian classical works. The participation of leading Ukrainian orchestras and international artists adds a powerful symbolic meaning to the project, emphasizing unity in the struggle for freedom and independence.
This initiative is more than music. It is a connection between those on the front lines and those supporting them in the back, expressed through the harmony of sounds that have become a reflection of Ukraine's modern history.
Project goal
• To show the resilience and strength of Ukrainian culture, which continues to develop even in times of war.
• Unite the international community in support of Ukraine and raise awareness about Ukraine's struggle for independence.
• Draw attention to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 5th Separate Assault Brigade.
• To create a connection between military and civilians through the arts, where music becomes an expression of gratitude and support for the military.
