Olya Tsybulska is the stage name of the Ukrainian singer, TV and radio host, and songwriter Olga Pavlivna Tsybulska-Grysiuk. The future star of the Ukrainian music and media industry grew up in the small town of Radyvyliv in the family of a lawyer (her father previously held the position of a police officer in the department for combating economic crimes) and a professional artist. The girl's desire for creativity manifested itself in her childhood. While studying at school, Olga actively participated in cultural and mass events: she participated in the KVK games, performed at all-Ukrainian festivals, and even held a wedding, being a seventh-grade student.

During one of the concerts, graduate Olya met the leader of the popular band DZIDZIO, Mykhailo Khoma. The artist convinced the girl to abandon the idea of entering a pedagogical university and supported her in her desire to achieve success in show business. Inspired by this meeting, Olya Tsybulska moved to Kyiv, where she began studying at the Leonid Utesov Variety and Circus Academy. Soon, Olya received an invitation from one of the TV channels in Budapest and worked as a host of an entertainment project for a year and a half. After the contract expired, Tsybulska decided not to continue the cooperation, rejected the producer's offer and returned to Ukraine. After graduating from the academy, Olya began working as a junior vocal teacher. At the same time, she received her education at the National Academy of Managers of Culture and Arts.

Creative path

In 2007, the vocal project "Star Factory" was launched on Ukrainian television. The winners of the first season were Olya Tsybulska and Oleksandr Bodiansky, who performed in a duet called "Dangerous Liaisons". However, just a year after the triumphant victory, the duet ceased to exist. At the same time, Olya and Oleksandr managed to release three singles and shoot a video clip. In 2009, Olya Tsybulska completely focused on her solo career, starting the path of an independent performer. In the same year, she also joined the radio, where she began working as a presenter, successfully combining music with media activities.

In February 2015, Olya Tsybulska presented her author's project "MZh" - an audio CD with her own poems, which were read by famous men, representatives of Ukrainian show business. In November of the same year, the artist launched the YouTube project "The Most Singing News" - a digest in which events from the world of show business were presented in an ironic form. In June 2017, Tsybulska released a music video for the author's song "I'm Waiting. This", created in collaboration with the band DZIDZIO. This video became a real hit, entered the top 20 most popular video clips in Ukrainian on YouTube. And the track conquered the highest steps of prestigious hit parades.

The style and development of the performer

Olya Tsybulska constantly combined music with media activities. In particular, she worked as a presenter on the New Channel (the humorous show "Clips", the documentary program "Zona Nochi", the morning entertainment show "Pidyom"). She repeatedly participated in the TV show "Who's on Top?", as well as "Superintuition". Olya Tsybulska has also established herself as a successful event host. In one of the interviews, the star said that during her career she had conducted about 900 wedding ceremonies, confirming her status as one of the most popular hosts in Ukraine.

In 2018, Olya Tsybulska was the first Ukrainian singer to receive the right to shoot a video clip for the official soundtrack of a cartoon produced by Warner Bros. Animation. This happened as a result of successful work on the voice acting of the cartoon "Petryk Rabbit" and the animated film "Smallfoot". The following year, the artist launched her own YouTube show called #bezparOLYA. And in 2020, she teamed up with the band DZIDZIO for the second time in a duet, presenting a new video clip for the track "Kitsya". In the same year, the singer released her debut album "Po barabanu" (the album consisted of 6 tracks) and presented the single of the same name in the superfinal of the popular show "Dancing with the Stars".

Social activity

Olya Tsybulska is an active participant in public initiatives, a philanthropist and animal advocate. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Olya Tsybulska has remained in Ukraine, actively supporting her people. However, she traveled abroad for some time for the safety of her son. The singer regularly participates in charity concerts to raise funds, became an ambassador for several large foundations and actively cooperates with the Ukrainian authorities in the field of information policy. At the beginning of the full-scale war, Olya initiated a joint project with the charitable foundation “I am not alone”, aimed at helping displaced people find work. In June 2022, together with the team, the singer presented the interactive film “Waiting. For this. For our heroes at night”.

The singer holds charity concerts and tours, in which she raises funds for the needs of the army: resuscitation vehicles, ammunition and many other things necessary for the approach of Victory and the preservation of the lives of our defenders. Olya Tsybulska draws energy from her audience, while at the same time filling the hearts of fans with warmth and hope. The performer realizes how important it is to sing for people in such difficult times for Ukraine.
