Four times the Grammy-awarded bassist Oscar Staniaro worthily ranks among the best bassists in the world.
It is difficult to list all those who worked with this outstanding musician. Among these names are Saxophonist Paquito De Riviero, Arturo Sandaval, Michel Camilo, Fredi Habert, Chucho Valdez, Caribien Jazz Project, Rosa Passos, Lani Andrade, New York Voysys.
Oscar is also a professor at Berkeley College and author of the books Latin Bass Book, Afro-Cuban Slap Bass Lines, Essential Grooves.

Master Class members are invited to participate in an online contest.
The best contestants will be invited to perform at the gala concert, which will be held on May 26 at the Sea Theater Summer Theater.
The winner of the competition will receive a scholarship to the online class at Berklee College of Music.
Conditions of the competition:
To participate in the contest, you need to send a video with a composition of up to 5 minutes in the style of Jazz, R & B, Funk.
Performance can be solo or in ensemble. When performing in an ensemble, the participant must be the main lead singer.
Drummers and bassists must demonstrate both the ensemble-accompanying game and the ability to play solo.
