The theater in Podol invites to the comedy “Premonition of Mina Mazailo” based on the famous play by N. Kulish.
Directed by Vitaly Malakhov managed to correctly place accents in the play. And in the first place came not so much the comedy of the plot, as the ideological depth of the work. Family and social, flexibly intertwined in the play, are fully reflected in the bright farcical and cartoon scenes of the play. Lively colorful speech of the characters, vivid images, spectacular set design and - the answer to the main question: why did Mina Mazaylo become so? Whence the feeling of “second-rate” of the Ukrainian people and why suddenly aunt Mote “is better to be raped ten times than once Ukrainianized,” the play tells about all this.
The role of Mina Mazailo is performed by the terrific Sergey Boyko. The performance also features the brilliant Tamara Plasenko, Andrey Parkhomenko, Dmitry Gritsai, Sofia Pisman and other talented actors.
The duration of the performance is 2 hours and 30 minutes, without intermission.
