Perturbator returns to Kyiv with new material!

It seems that since the day Petrurbator left Ukraine last year, he did not rest for a minute. The icon of the sint-vaive not only traveled with the tour, but also prepares the material for a new, as yet untitled, album, which will be released this year. These novelties will be presented by the artist at the Atlas club in Kiev on October 21.

Recently, a French musician has released an Excess track that will enter the new disc. After leaving the dystopian album New Model in 2017, he warned that he was going to change the direction of music, and he did not joke. The new track is unexpectedly filled with sounds of the industrial and post-punk, though not devoid of characteristic synthesizer notes. If in the past Perturbator focused on Nine Inch Nails, John Carpenter or Kraftwerk, now his music has leaned toward The Cure and Depeche Mode.

James Kent's interest in music is the real name of the musician - due to his parents, music critics and musicians. He began his musical career as a guitarist of several black metal groups. Since 2012, Petrurbator has produced music inspired by the culture of sieberpank and films such as Akira, Spirit in an Armor, and Running Man. His music became the soundtrack for Hotline Miami and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - the popularity of these games has brought the popularity of the project Perturbator.

In the beginning of 2019, Perturbator will tour North America alongside the Ghost with the newest high-profile style. According to the musician, his new music will tell about "anger, frustration, exhaustion, perhaps even a lack of understanding in a certain way." All this we will hear this year in the Ukrainian capital.
