Pie and Batig is a Ukrainian musical group that combines various musical genres in its work, including academic, baroque music, as well as folk and ethnic elements. Founded by Ukrainian musicians with the desire to create original music that would reflect the spirit and culture of our country. The band describes their style as "sung poetry" or "recitation in verse".

"Cake and Whip" takes the audience on a magical adventure through the poems of Shevchenko, Chuprynka, Antonych, Tychyna, Stus and other important figures of the formation of Ukrainian literature.

This year, the song "The groves are making noise" based on a poem by Pavlo Tychyna gained amazing popularity. The composition performed by the band has more than 20,000,000 listens on music platforms, and Pyrig and Batig became known not only in cultural circles, but also among a wide audience of Ukrainians, including young people.
