10 songs about art to die (Dark Cabaret, 18+)
The winner of the Taking The Stage Competition from the British Council in Ukraine. The play brought together artists from different parts of Ukraine - Kiev, Lviv and Kharkiv.
In the performance-cabaret "Psychosis about 4.48", a marvelous combination of pathological thirst for life and endless, cyclical death planning are combined. "Psychosis" is a psychogenic show, a bipolar ballet and just a girl-evening, in which women try to understand themselves and achieve absolute enlightenment. Here there are patients and doctors who also need to be treated, and arrange inflammatory dances on the deathbed.
Tired of normality, the heroine of the show is in the boundary state, in the world of experiments with its borders. They investigate the pain that releases and the pain from which one wants to live, monopolize the right to lament and the right to tell the truth. But faced with the maximum frankness of the text of the cult British drama, the authors find that normality, in fact, is in the very center of convulsions. And it is not known that it is better to stay sick, to free oneself from insanity and die.
