Cold drove from California - Shahmen's rapper returns to Kyiv with a new album coming out in September. So far, the artist holds the name of the disc in secret, but we know for sure that we will hear him on October 16 at the Atlas club.
The first songs to the new album Shahmen recorded in Mexico, in the historic city of Tulum, which still retains the spirit of Maya in its ruins. It was written there that the tracks set the style of the new disc. The next few tracks recorded rapper on days off the concert, while on tour in Istanbul and Berlin. Since then, Shahmen was looking for inspiration in simple things - he returned home, read books at the dog Bowie, watched films, studied research and brainstorming, and produced new material. In the spring of this year Rapper returned to the city, which gave him the name of Shahmen; to the city where he once wrote with Sense his first album in a home studio, and this city is Amsterdam. Having come to its forehead, Shahmen says the new disc will be an entirely new stage in its history.
The story of the Shahmen project actually began over a year ago when rapper Bless from Los Angeles met with an Amsterdam musician and producer Sense. They met in Amsterdam and, having recorded one common track, went away. But next summer, Bless returned to Amsterdam to record an entire album on Sense. Their LP "All in The Circle" has become a modern classics, and the Mark hit 25 million strokes and No. 1 in iTunes.
Over time, Shahmen turned into a design for the Rapper Bless. His third solo record, "California is Cold", has become Shahmen's most successful work, appearing among Top 200 albums in 15 countries on Apple Music. And we can not wait to see what the rapper has prepared for us in his new release, along with Unorthadox.
