Talents

Arsen Puchkov

A real discovery for connoisseurs of stand-up

Arsen Puchkov is a trashy stand-up comedian from Zaporozhye, whose topics for jokes are very close and understandable to many. Today, Arsen lives in Kyiv and is actively expanding his audience. The public likes the light and simple style of the comedian's stories. This makes Arsen what is called "his" in any company. That is why for many, the stand-up of a witty humorist often becomes a pleasant discovery and even, they say, is addictive.

The topics for Arsen Puchkov's jokes are very diverse. His stories are about IT, barbershops, nervousness and anxiety, owners of iPhones, about parents and childhood, tattoos and greed. Arsen knows how and likes to laugh at himself and his problems, and this is winning.
Oleksiy Pryimachenko

A comedian you've definitely seen somewhere

Oleksiy Priymachenko is a talented stand-up comedian, Tiktoker, finalist of the "Battles" show, screenwriter, master of improvisation, presenter on Sweet TV and just a bright creative personality.

Oleksii is originally from Zaporizhzhia, but recently moved to Kyiv (and this fact, by the way, is also one of the topics of the comedian's jokes). The humorist's popularity is growing rapidly today, and tickets for Oleksiy Pryimachenko's performances are selling out quite quickly. The comedian gathers the audience at the capital's venues and comes to his native Zaporizhzhia with concerts. Oleksii jokes about everything that happens in his life: about health (where can we go without jokes about teeth!), the complexity of the diet and a fight with a girl, about relationships and marriage, and much more. But you can best feel the atmosphere of the comedian's performances only at a live concert of Oleksiy Pryimachenko, so look for the nearest date and come!

Svyatoslav Marchenko
Sviatoslav (Sviat) Marchenko

City – Cherkasy (Ukraine)

Language – Ukrainian

Genre – Stand-up, improvisation

Comedian's Formation

Sviat Marchenko is a popular Ukrainian stand-up comedian, screenwriter, and improviser. Originally from Cherkasy, he is now based in Kyiv. He has been working in the humor industry for over 9 years. Despite receiving a law degree, Sviat became interested in comedy. He admits that his career shift surprised many of his family and friends. He was often asked why he didn’t want to work as a lawyer. Sviat himself had to answer this question, first to himself. Eventually, he realized that he couldn’t do otherwise and wanted to do something that brought him pleasure. While still young, he decided to take the risk – what if success awaited him in the future?

The risk paid off, and humor and creativity won, becoming his favorite profession. At that point, Sviat already had considerable experience performing on stage, starting with playing in KVN (a popular Russian comedy show) during his school years. His career progressed with tours, participation in various castings and shows. The aspiring comedian steadily moved toward recognition, winning the hearts of more and more fans. He found success in finding topics for jokes and connecting with the audience. People applauded his performances, and Sviat admits that this brought him the greatest joy. The feeling was similar to what musicians experience on stage, singing their best hits and receiving overwhelming feedback from their audience.

Creative Path

Sviat's debut in stand-up took place in 2015. In 2020, he began collaborating with the "Varyaty Show" team alongside Maksym Kravets. By that time, Sviat had already toured extensively, continued performing stand-up sets, and writing jokes. His collaboration with "Varyaty" was successful and truly fulfilling: the creative team of the show genuinely supported and helped newcomers. The young artists were beloved by the audience, who often called for an encore after their performances. Sviat notes that during his time with "Varyaty Show," his schedule often included two or three performances a day.

When writing new scripts and jokes, Sviat can spend days without leaving his home. He reads a lot, writes, and prepares for concerts. Recently, he presented his solo program "Sviatvechir," in which he joked about various topics: relationships, personal revelations, life during the war, aging concerns, cheeky Cherkasy hackers, and much more. The comedian considers the warm reception from the audience to be the highest reward. In these moments, he realizes that everything he does is not in vain, and this is an important step toward realizing himself as truly happy.

For anyone who is hesitant to try something new, Sviat advises not to be afraid. Life is about trying and experiencing results (not always positive and expected, but still!). He continues to work as a screenwriter for various humorous television shows. His stand-up performances during the full-scale war are aimed at supporting Ukraine's defenders. He also announces fundraising for the needs of the Ukrainian military on his social media. The artist is confident that Ukrainians can achieve anything and will continue to grow and become better in many fields.

  • Among the comedy projects Sviatoslav Marchenko has worked on as a screenwriter are the "Mamakhokhotala" studio, "Diesel Show," the sketch comedy "Na Tryokh," the sitcom "Curators," the entertainment show "Stars, Gossip & Hollywood" on TET, and others;

Genre - stand-up, improvisation

Creative way

Slava Bu is a popular Ukrainian comedian, improviser, and influencer. He started his stand-up activities 8 years ago. The artist comes from the city of Gola Prystan, in the Kherson region. The first performances took place in the format of joint concerts with other comedians. Later, Slava reached the level of soloists. Thus, in 2023, a large all-Ukrainian tour "Standup Tours" took place, during which the comedian visited many regional centers of the country. The successful solo program "Chesny" attracted hundreds of new people to the comedian's cohort of fans.

During the performances, Slava tried to feel the mood of the audience in order to understand which topics for jokes are the most relevant and in demand. Live communication with listeners at concerts turned out to be an excellent tool for finding out the views and opinions of the audience. This is how the bright talent of Slava the improviser was revealed. The comedian remarked to himself that many people come to stand-up evenings for the first time. And this despite the fact that the genre has been actively developing in Ukraine for the last 10 years. That is why the artist carefully notices the most important, bright, iconic events in life and tells about them simply, aptly and funny.

Stand-up during the war

Slava and his family had to live under occupation for a month and a half. Later, the family moved to the Kyiv region. And Slava continued to engage in humor. During a full-scale war, people who come to concerts inspire jokes. Among them are many military personnel who always emphasize that they would not like everyone to shut themselves up in a more peaceful rear, not to smile at all and not to live a normal life. After all, humor is a good way of emotional discharge. And that's why stand-up during the war has the right to exist.

Another important argument for the activity of Slava Bu is the charitable component. Recognition, charisma and popularity of the comedian attract the attention of an increasingly large audience. And it allows the comedian to close important meetings. After all, the needs of our military do not decrease, and charity concerts are very important. So, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Slava collected more than 200,000 hryvnias with the help of Instagram streams alone. And in general, volunteer meetings for more than 1 million hryvnias were closed.

Topics for jokes Fame takes away from life. Frankly and unabashedly jokes about the peculiarities of communication, about women's requirements for men, the habit of being late and much more. A special place in Slava Bu's humor is occupied by patriotic jokes. The comedian is sure: life is full of events that deserve to be ridiculed. And hearing a sharp and relevant joke is the most valuable gift for the audience. In turn, the stand-up artist says that the most important gratitude for him is not the number of people taking selfies after the concert and not the volume of applause, but the scale of laughter in the hall during the performance.

Personal and creative changes

After the full-scale invasion, a full transition to Ukrainian took place. For Slava Bu, this is a change in everything: in himself, in the content, in the direction of development in stand-up. The comedian is sure: even when the war ends, he will definitely not interact with those who one day came and said: "we are one people, that's why we are taking away your home, city, region..." At the same time, the comedian is not going to prove anything to the Russians . Its mission is to raise national consciousness and show that Ukrainian is cool.

Today, Slava Bu's performances are attended by more and more people of all ages and with various interests. The masterful improvisation of the artist, who harmoniously and interestingly conducts a dialogue with the audience, is especially captivating. In this way, literally everyone can become a creator of humor - here and now. And the topics are always thrown up by a life full of various events.

Interesting facts about the comedian

  • the star of the comedy scene likes to cook. Favorite dishes include fried chicken with spices, vegetables with grilled chicken or turkey, etc.;
  • the artist names Kostya Trembovetskyi and Misha Rudya ("Good Bad Bad Evil Podcast") as his YouTube stars;
  • Slava greatly appreciates communication and meetings with his family, whom he moved to Brovary to see more often;
  • in the evening, he likes to spend time by the river - walking, riding a scooter along the Obolon embankment. Such leisure is a good distraction and helps to disperse.
