The performance "The Holy Family" in Kyiv will take place at the Lesya Ukrainka National Academic Drama Theater. Despite social inequality and the lack of a full-fledged profession, they, childishly naive and kind, with maniacal determination hope to realize their dreams and forget about the sad moments of their lives. But ... one wonderfully crazy day in this colorful family, in its no less colorful house, a fascinating story begins, with truly Italian passions and madness, unpredictable, bizarre paradoxes and a masterfully woven intrigue that turned everything upside down!

“The Holy Family” is a play based on the work of playwright Aldo Nicolai. The main characters of the vivid production are the colorful Carrucho family, who live in a cheap area of an Italian city and are constantly forced to fight against changeable fate. Father, mother and son naively believe that despite social inequality and lack of professional skills, they will be able to achieve their dream heights and never again remember the unpleasant moments of the past. However, one day something unexpected happens to the “holy family”… And now everything will turn upside down, and their life will be filled with complex intrigues and strange paradoxes. Duration of the play – 1 hour 20 minutes. Age category – 16+. We are waiting for you!

ℹ️ Useful information:

🧸 Children under 5 years old are free of charge exclusively for children's daytime performances.
✅ Spectators from 14 years of age are allowed to attend performances without adult accompaniment.
🛡️ In case of an air raid: if an air raid alarm sounds before the start, visitors must vacate the theater premises, administrators direct the audience to the nearest shelter (Teatralna metro station). If the alarm did not last long, then after its end, the performance will begin in 20 minutes. If the alarm is in the middle of the event - the show stops, theater employees take the audience out of the theater building - the "Teatralna" metro station is located next to the theater, if the alarm is short (up to 40 minutes) the show can be continued after the alarm ends.
