The legendary VIA "Sinyaya Ptitsa" Made in Ukraine, for several years now - is not just a part of history, but also an existing musical group, whose fans are only being added.
A lot of fond memories are associated with the vocal-instrumental ensemble "Sinyaya Ptitsa" in the life of the generation that grew up in the 70-80s. It was then, in those years, that the musicians of the popular group performed their favorite songs. The name VIA "Sinyaya Ptitsa" as a symbol of goodness, love and fidelity came from the famous play of the Belgian writer Maurice Meterlink and since then the team has been lucky.
Songs of the famous vocal and instrumental ensemble of VIA "Sinyaya Ptitsa" are real folk hits that have been loved by more than one generation of listeners. Probably everyone remembers such hits of the past as “I don’t dream about you”, “Maple”, “Mom’s record”, “Bitter”, “Words”, “So that's what you are”, “Steamboats go to sea”, “I go to meet you ”,“ White ship ”and many others.
Songs for The Sinyaya Ptitsa were written by young composers and poets who created the Sinyaya Ptitsa repertoire: Yuri Antonov, Vyacheslav Dobrynin, Sergey Dyachkov, Theodor Efimov, Yuri Akulov, Robert Rozhdestvensky, Leonid Derbenev and others. Sinyaya Ptitsa discs were sold in millions of copies; the ensemble gathered thousands of stadiums at their concerts.
