The history of the artist's career
TARABAROVA (Svetlana Tarabarova) – Ukrainian songwriter and performer, composer, music producer, actress. The future star of the music scene was born into a large family in Kherson. Her father worked at a factory, and her mother was a kindergarten teacher. Every summer they went to Skadovsk together. Her mother took the children with her to the camp where she worked. And for little Svetlana, these were real happy holidays, which the girl had been waiting for all year.
Since childhood, the future artist showed interest in creativity: she attended music school, clubs. And at the age of 13 she joined the dance group "Oasis". Together with the creative group, she went on tour in Ukraine. She had to go through grueling training, which lasted several months, and perform until late at night. Despite the busy schedule, Svetlana managed to study at school and demonstrate good performance.
After graduating from school, Tarabarova moved to Kyiv. The girl aspired to fulfill her long-standing dream - to enter the Variety and Circus School. Despite the fact that her mother advised her to choose the Kyiv Institute of Culture and Arts, Svetlana insisted on her own and made the choice on her own.
Creative path
For some time, Svetlana worked as a PJ in nightclubs, combining work with searching for herself in the world of creativity. The singer took confident steps towards popularity and recognition in the music industry in 2008. Tarabarova took part in the television project "Star Factory", where she performed under the stage name Alisa Tarabarova. Energy, charisma and artistry immediately distinguished the participant among other contestants. Svetlana quickly became a favorite of the audience and the mentor of the project, star and producer Natalia Mogilevskaya. As a result, Svetlana took second place in the talent show.
In the same year, Svitlana Tarabarova, together with Regina Todorenko, Lina Mytsuki, and Olena Kushnirenko, became part of the new pop group Real O. The group was created by Natalia Mogilevskaya from among the graduates of the "Star Factory".
Solo career
In 2012, Svetlana Tarabarova left the Real O group. The singer began a solo career under her own name and finally established herself as an independent artist. On April 5, 2012, she debuted with a video clip for the track "Faith is Strong". In 2016, Tarabarova took part in the semi-finals of the national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The singer demonstrated a new musical level, a modern sound and attracted the attention of even more loyal fans.
In the fall of 2018, the singer's third studio album was presented in one of the capital's cinemas. The album was called "23:25" (the symbolic numbers indicated the time of birth of the artist's son). The release included 12 songs, combined into a single musical film.
On December 6 of the same year, on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the artist, in collaboration with rapper Yarmak, presented the patriotic composition "Warrior". The work was dedicated to all Ukrainian defenders. And in the spring of 2019, Svitlana Tarabarova presented the official video for the hit "I'm Fabulous", demonstrating the bright development of style and creative vision.
Social activity
The star maintains her own pages on popular social networks and gladly shares all the news with fans there. The singer's active civic position is also manifested in her support for the Ukrainian military, who defend our land. TARABAROVA organized her first live for the defenders of Ukraine back in 2014. In addition to concerts, the artist expresses her experiences from the war and respect for Ukrainian Heroes in her songs. Under the influence of the events in Ukraine, the tracks "Come Back Alive", "Close the Sky", "Sleep, Sweet Cat" (together with Berestovyi), "My Last Nervous Cell" appeared.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the artist has been in Ukraine and is giving strength and faith in the best to all her fans.
