Kiev will host a tattoo festival and a parade of customized cars

The 16th international tattoo festival will take place at the Platforma art factory on June 25-27. The theme of this year is the struggle between good and evil.

Pre-quarantine life is gradually returning to Kiev, including major professional festivals. One of the largest, dedicated to tattoo culture, will take place in June. After a year-long break due to quarantine, tattoo artists from all over Ukraine will come to Kiev for the 16th Tattoo Collection.

At the festival, you can get acquainted with new experimental techniques, as well as look at current tattoo paintings made in different styles. In total, more than 10 nominations will be presented at the Tattoo Collection, in which the masters will compete for the Golden Machine Cup. In addition to the competition, current industry participants will receive training master classes and stands with professional equipment.

But not only the participants, but also the guests of the festival can count on surprises and interesting zones. Over the years, Tattoo Collection has managed to form an informal community of vivid fans of tattoo culture, piercing, scarring and just a non-standard lifestyle. All of them will gather at the festival to immerse themselves in the special atmosphere of an event free from all prejudices. During the festival, guests will be able to view the portfolio of tattoo artists, order a sketch and even get a tattoo.

Fans of custom cars will be able to take vivid photos with unique cars from private collections. A column of hundreds of bikers is also expected at the festival, who will traditionally carry the Tattoo Collection flag across Kiev to the festival. Traditionally, the location of the festival will be decorated with bright photo zones, there will be a tent with predictions and a rich children's program.

All festival participants will be able to purchase an NFT lottery ticket and take part in the drawing of 100 tattoos from the Planet Tatu art studio, which will be drawn by the most extraordinary DC Comics characters Joker and Harley Quinn. DJ sets from Ukrainian DJs and a food court with
street food.

All three days of the festival, its guests will be accompanied by black and white angels, which of the forces will win in the end - good or evil - will depend on each guest.

As always, Tattoo Collection remains accessible and welcoming to all visitors and guests of the city. The charitable goal of the festival this year will be to raise funds for training several young people from large families to become a tattoo artist. The project partner is the Academy of Tattoo Art from the studio of the organizer Planeta Tatu.
