1. Teleman for the first time with a concert in Ukraine within the framework of Selector Live
2. One of the most interesting British bands of the last time
3. Presentation of the new album, under the rhythmic electronic guitar sounds that are so good to dance
The British band Teleman will perform for the first time in Ukraine at the Bel 'Etage Club in Kyiv on November 10th as part of the Selector Live concert series.
Though Teleman has existed since 2012, their story began long before that. Thomas Sanders (vocals / guitar) and his brother Johnny (keyboards) have been familiar with the bass player Peter Cattermoul for more than 20 years. For eight years they were the core of the popular indie pop group Pete and the Pirates, and later changed tactics and created Teleman with drummer Giro Amamia.
The band was a special visitor to Metronomy, Maximo Park, Kaiser Chiefs and Franz Ferdinand. In 2016, Teleman opened concerts for the Belle and Sebastian tour.
In early September Teleman released their third studio album Family of Aliens. Unlike its predecessors, this album has been created with a freer and more collaborative approach to writing and recording music. Filled with new electronic textures and sharp lyrics, it offers the audience a solid collection of great pop songs and sophisticated tunes.
According to Sanders, the band has become "an awesome family. In the process of working on the latest album, I realized how much we depend on each other. Sometimes we would quarrel, but if we all agreed, we would never have created anything interesting."
