3. It's not just a concert, it's an act of art. In addition to a mix of two interesting musicians, it will be accompanied by video art created specifically for the event.
French thick dark ambient from Normandy and Ukrainian meditative no jazz from Kiev. All of this - accompanied by no less than an amazing video series - will meet in one space and at one time only once. February 23, in Frankivsk.
The Eye of Time is a solo project by French musician Marc Euvrie. Multilayered experimental sound, minimalistic bits, strong bass are the formula of his music, which is a bizarre mixture of darkness and hope.
Mark's musical history is closely linked to the French DIY punk and hardcore scene, but began with classical music education. Mark started playing the piano at the age of 9, at the age of 15 he wrote his own music, and after graduation he studied at the Conservatory of Cello. For several years, Mark has been working on a musical trilogy on the path of mankind, and in 2018 he released the second part, the album 'Myth II: A Need To Survive' on the German label Denivali. Myth is a response to the tragic events of our time and a soundtrack for people who have to fight for their lives, either through wars or through corrupt non-functioning government agencies. Mark himself puts it this way: “'A Need To Survive' is the perfect title for this album. He was born when I had to deal with darkness. ”
Ghost cities is also a solo project, and also a multi-instrumental one. But of Ukrainian origin - Mykola Lebed will be improvising with acoustic piano, saxophone and electronic sound in real time, as well as present some ready-made compositions.
Nicholas' music is dark and stringy, yet dreamily hidden. “I once dreamed that I was playing very beautiful music and in my dreams came up with the names for the tracks. Knowing that the morning will be forgotten, I tried to catch at least the motives. But he only remembered two names - bofema and shtandartea. That was 6 years ago, maybe more. Everything is lost in time. ”Everything is lost, but bofema still happened
