We have known about the unsurpassed ability of director Semyon Gorov to create an atmosphere of enchanting fun ("Crazy day or marriage of Figaro", "Sorochinsky fair"), but we will see his interpretation of modern classics for the first time.

US sixties, theatrical producer bankrupt and unclean accountant, love for money, a Nazi who went crazy, an insurance scam. It would seem that could go wrong? Spoiler: EVERYTHING. In an attempt to keep afloat, our swindlers jump out of a sinking ship into a burning one.

Max and Leo's tricky plan is to deliberately deliver a failed performance, but even here they are defeated. With enviable optimism, they come up with more and more tricks, at the same time entertaining the viewer with their absurdity and unscrupulousness. And against the background of all this crazy ballet!

Director Gore made the play a true vaccination for sadness. Watching the characters of O. Melamud and O. Stupka repeatedly emerge from hopeless situations, there is nothing left for the viewer to believe except in the strength of human perseverance and that all will be well.
