December 11-14 The Vienna Philharmonic Strauss Orchestra will tour Ukraine with a small tour and give concerts in the cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odessa and Dnipro.

The repertoire of the band is based on the masterpieces of Haydn, Brahms, Mozart, representatives of the Strauss dynasty and other classics.

The members of the orchestra are highly professional musicians from Vienna, as well as their colleagues from all over Europe.

The Vienna Philharmonic Strauss Orchestra has successfully toured Europe (in Germany, Romania, Poland, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria). The work of the team is aimed at preserving and developing the musical culture of Vienna and its promotion at European and international level.

The principal conductor and co-creator of the orchestra is Andras Deak, a reputable maestro with a long successful career. In 1995, he was named one of the best Hungarian conductors at the Janos Ferenczyk International Television Conductors Competition.

Deak has performed in many well-known concert halls with the world's leading orchestras:

  • with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra (Canada) at Jack Singers Hall (Calgary);
  • at the Orpheus Theater in Vancouver with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra;
  • at the Kennedy Center in Washington with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra;
  • in Chicago with the orchestra of Chicago's famed Lyric Opera.

In 2006, András Deak was invited to the Vienna Music Festival as conductor of the Vienna Mozart Orchestra and since then has become a regular guest conductor of this well-known band.

In 2004, for his contribution to the development of musical culture, maestro Andras Deak was awarded the prestigious Order of Merit in Hungary.

The organizers hope that the evening with this amazing Orchestra will inspire you and give you unforgettable joyful emotions.
